THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA
We are all a happy generation of internet savvy that lives in a world of technology which makes it easier for everyone to gain what they want through social media. The side we forget is that it’s a drug too and you don’t need any tutorial to be addicted to this “social media” self-injection dose you just need a gadget to become an expert hence you have the potential with you and you good to go.
When technology came to life it was a form of business tool but now it has turned into a deadly drug that cannot be avoided and if you do it won’t be for a long period, try to imagine how long can you stay or put your phone away.Monitor yourself how many hours you can spend on your phone, in a group of five there must be two using their phone and that means it’s unavoidable to some, lack of data nowadays feels like being out of the world because you always want to be online either to keep scrolling or liking some pictures and this always cost you money which could have done you something useful or save it, some even end up purchasing Monthly data bundles every week.
In every family, there is one person who is always busy on the phone/Gadget and maybe the parents have been asking themselves “Oh my God what is wrong with my Kid nowadays” We all know or have heard persons commit suicide regard to social media pressure.
Let’s give an instance where the time you are at work you keep scrolling your phone to see updates and this doesn’t mean that when you reach home you won’t use it, from 8 am to 5 pm you been with the phone but you still don’t want to leave it alone why because the technology company has already been feeding you with the desired ads /photos/ videos. Sometimes we sleep unknowingly with our phones in our hands, have you ever asked yourself why?
People using Instagram have been manipulated that for you to know that you are living the best life you need to own luxury stuff and travel all over the world and be known, everyone wants to be famous and be liked by everyone in a simple format if you can’t like everyone then not everyone is going to like you or like what you do, I’m not saying owning good stuff isn’t good but don’t let the “pressure “from apps manipulate your reputation.

People preach water but in real life they consume wine, so you end up following the saying and may end up in depression, anxiety, sad and pressure to live a life they can’t afford, social media feeds you with false information you know why because it sells a lot compared with the truth remember after the end of that day all these applications are aiming revenue and this is achieved through an algorithm You have the potential to control your circle and to live a life that’s not based on the algorithm, social media can be used to spread hatred and to pass both useful and destructive information, we are the isolated generation that believes that watching a certain channel that tells us we are right, people who don’t talk to each other, people who don’t interact and have based everything on technology.
You need to limit your time on gadgets and face real life as a human, real life is where you get help, is where you create friends and break the barrier of loneliness
